Lacey Zoning Code Amendment
HBBP, LLC. has submitted a request to amend the Lacey’s code to create a greater level of flexibility in the Light Industrial-Commercial (LI-C) zone.
The proposed amendment would allow one building footprint to be larger (up to 500,000 square feet) if the development were to retain existing buildings (to prevent displacement of existing businesses) and if the project provides improvements that better protect the City’s wellhead. The images below show examples of what current code allows versus what the proposed amended code could allow.
