Anna is the newest member of our team and provides integral research, marketing and project support primarily for our economic development clients.
Anna is a native of Saskatchewan, Canada and graduated from Esterhazy High School in 2017 with honors. She was involved in several sports, including basketball, hockey, softball and volleyball and was also a member of an activist’s club promoting individual rights. Throughout her high school years, she worked at a local grocery store, for the town regional park and in a nearby care home as an activity worker. During this time, she has been known as a very friendly and pleasant smiling person with an excellent work ethic and drive.
During the summer of 2018, Anna worked two jobs—at her hometown golf course as a cashier and bartender as well as continuing her work as an activity worker at an out of town care home. Sometimes working 12-hour days and playing on the local 19U softball team and playing slow pitch for a team in Melville, Anna learned quickly how to manage her time throughout the day. Although this busy summer was well-worth it, as she made lasting relationships with the senior residents and the regular golfers at the club house.
Academic and Future Goals
After graduating high school with a class of 43, Anna pursued a college volleyball career at Iowa Wesleyan University- following her older sister’s footsteps. Here, she is playing both volleyball and softball with the Tigers and is also a part of a psychology research group and work study. All while maintaining a 4.0 GPA while working towards a double major of Psychology and Marketing. Anna hopes to adventure into a career in advertising while utilizing both majors in the work force.
